Canadian Advanced ESP Inc. (CAI) supplies all equipment and services associated with Electrical Submersible Pump Systems (ESP) for artificial lift applications, Horizontal Pumping Systems for a variety of surface high pressure applications and innovative Variable Frequency Generator Systems.

The company headquarter and main manufacturing facility is based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, the heart of the Canadian Oil Industry. In Edmonton CAI operates within a 9.000 sq.ft office complex attached to a 20.000 sq.ft manufacturing, assembly and testing facility. These buildings are located on a 7,2 acre property in an industrial park in Edmonton within a short driving distance from Edmonton International Airport.

CAI provides any or all of the following products and services:

ESP Manufacturing, Assembly and Testing, Sales and Services
design, manufacturing, assembly and testing as well as sales and services of electrical submersible pumps to the domestic Canadian and International market.

Assembly, Testing, Sales and Service of ESP Surface Equipment
packaging of Variable Speed Drives, proprietary motor controllers, switchboards, transformers and generator sets.

Manufacturing, Sales and Service of Auxiliary Down-hole ESP Equipment
CAI’s proprietary power coil systems, penetrators, cable, Y-tools, down-hole sensoring equipment etc.

Horizontal Pumping Systems (HPS)
manufacturing, packaging and testing of horizontal centrifugal pumps for surface fluid applications.

Variable Frequency Generators (VFG)
manufacturing, assembly and testing of an innovative power supply concept for ESP’s and other variable load / variable speed applications.

Specialized ESP, HPS and VFG Testing, Repairing and Installation Services
In it’s state-of-the-art testing facility, CAI has the ability to perform product testing and diagnostics tests of all products including full-string tests. Upgrading of used equipment can be accomplished with specialized proprietary designs. Supply of CAI designed Spooling Units and Spooling Trucks.

Management and Operation of ESP Installations Worldwide
CAI provides highly trained personnel and specialized equipment to operate and manage ESP installations worldwide.

All CAI operations are certified to ISO 9001:2000 and OHSAS 18001:1999 standards to ensure the highest quality products with the greatest value for customers worldwide. Quality assurance begins with a contract review and continues throughout the entire process. All products are inspected and performance tested in line with the relevant API and other specification criteria before leaving the factory.

Over the years, CAI has gained the confidence of an ever growing number of customers, not only in the domestic Canadian market but increasingly overseas. The companies’ products and services have also been approved by major oil production companies such as Kuwait Oil Company (KOC), Canadian NEXEN and others.
